Apple Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sunrise Fresh dried tart apple slices, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup pecans. roughly chopped
  • ½ cup cashews, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup almonds, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • ¼ cup + 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 3 cups oats
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, dried apples, shredded coconut, pecans, cashews, almonds, cinnamon and salt.
  3. Then add the vanilla, maple syrup, honey and coconut oil to the oat mixture and toss until honey and oil are evenly distributed.
  4. Spread granola evenly on a lined baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden, tossing every 10 minutes.
  5. Let the granola cool completely before storing in an airtight container
